Clean any loose material from the top of the presshead

Bale Chamber and Dump Tray Cleaning

Clean any loose material from the tie slots in the floor of the bale chamber

Clean underneath the dump tray after dumping each bale

Follow Lock out / Tag out procedures

Follow Presshead Chocking procedures

Clean the surface of the magnetic door latch and striker with a clean cloth

Lubricate the chamber door hinges

Grease the turnbuckle for the chamber door latch

Check the oil level with the presshead fully raised

Inspect all hydraulic hoses for issues

Inspect all hydraulic fittings for issues

Run the machine to place the presshead in the fully raised position.

Is the oil level below the black fill line on the gauge?

Follow all Lock out/Tag out procedures before continuing this service procedure.

Place the step ladder in front of the power unit and use it to reach the top of the oil tank.

Clean any dust and debris from around the oil fill port using a disposable shop towel.

Remove the plug on the oil fill port using a 9/16" open end wrench.

Pour oil into the fill port using a clean funnel until the oil level reaches the black fill line on the oil sight gauge.

Replace the hydraulic oil and filter

Replace the dump tray shear bolt

Check presshead guides for wear and adjust appropriately

Check the cylinder mounting bolts for tightness
