38 and 42 Mowers: Lubricated two mower spindle grease fittings with two pumps of grease

48 and 54 Mowers: Lubricated three mower spindle grease fittings with two pumps of grease

Lubricated grease fitting on each spindle with one or two pumps of general all-purpose grease

Turned wheels to distribute grease on spindles

Lubricated front axle center pivot grease fitting with one or two pumps of general all-purpose grease

Lubricating Lift Pedal Assembly

Lubricated grease fitting for lift pedal with enough grease to flush out dirt

Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

Remove any trash from area around fuel tank cap.

Remove fuel tank cap slowly to allow any pressure built up in tank to escape.

Fill fuel tank only to bottom of filler neck. Do not overfill.

Gas models: Turn cap until clicks.

Sign off on the fuel tank filling maintenance

Park machine safely on level surface

Put drain pan under drain valve

Remove drain cap and drain oil into drain pan

Wipe dirt from around oil filter

Place a drain pan or funnel under oil filter tray

Upload a photo of the machine after removing the hood

Air intake screen and external engine surfaces cleaned

Upload a photo of the air cleaner cover (A) and air filter after removal

Upload a photo of the rotating screen (C) after removing three bolts (B)

Upload a photo of the fuel pump screws (F) and fuel line bracket bolts (G) after removal

Upload a photo of the engine shroud (H) after removal

Debris cleaned from fan areas (I), cylinder head cooling fins (J), and area between engine and frame

Shroud, fuel pump, fuel line guard, and oil fill tube installed with hardware

Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

Check metal strip in fuse window and discard fuse(s) if strip is broken.

Select the new fuse to be inserted

Sign off on the fuse replacement
