Tractors with SyncroPlus™ transmission: Check if the starting motor does NOT turn over in all gears

Tractors with PowrReverser™ transmission: Check if the starting motor does NOT turn over in all travel directions

Tractors with PowrQuad™ transmission: Check if the starting motor does NOT turn over in both 'forward' and 'reverse' positions

PTO actuation - Check safety circuit

Lights - Check settings of headlights

Load center - Visually inspect and clean

Fuel system - Drain water and sediment from fuel tank

Retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes, rectify errors, and then delete the diagnostic trouble codes.

Check that all lights and headlights are functioning properly.

Cab support, check torques of fixing screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).

Drawbar - Check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).

Height-adjustable trailer hitch - Check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours)

Trailer hitch - Check torques of attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).

Pick-up hitch - Check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).

John Deere™ front loader mounting frame - Check torques of attaching screws (see operator's manual and installation instructions of the front loader)

Front hitch - Attaching frame, check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).

Inspect seat belt for damage and ensure proper working order

Use coolant test strips to check engine coolant

Engine - Check drive belt for wear (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)

Change engine oil (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)

Front loader mounting frame - Check torques of fixing screws (see operator's manual and installation instructions of the front loader)

Change activated carbon filters of cab, if equipped (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)

Sign off on the tractor maintenance

Check nitrogen pressure in accumulator on TLS front-wheel drive axle

Transmission/Hydraulic system oil heated up?

Tractor parked level with all implements lowered?

Engine shut off and ignition key withdrawn?

Upload a photo of drained oil from transmission/hydraulic system

Transmission intake screens cleaned?

Tighten drain screws to 50 Nm (37 Ib-ft)

Upload a photo of filled transmission/hydraulic oil into the transmission housing

Engine - Replace filter on crankcase ventilation (oil separator)

Replace Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Filters

Coated sealing rings of new filter elements with grease and screwed in filter elements?

Use original John Deere filter elements only!

Ran the engine briefly and operated several hydraulic functions. Shut off engine?

Wait for 10 to 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It must be between the marks on the sight-glass. If not, correct oil level.

Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives and disk brake, oil change
