Check Alternator and compressor belts tension

Change transmission filter element

Check Air intake hose connections

Check Intake and exhaust valves clearance

Drain and fill Engine crankcase

Remove the crankcase drain plug and drain the oil from the crankcase.

Install the drain plug and add new John Deere Torq-Gard Engine Oil or its equivalent of the proper viscosity (page 47).

Run the engine at slow idle speed. Check for leaks around the crankcase drain plug. Retighten if necessary.

The oil level on the dipstick 10 minutes after stopping should be at the upper marks. The capacity is 16 U.S. quarts (15 l).

Keep a record of all oil and filter changes on the oil and filter change stickers that come with the filters.

Check the tires for damage and correct inflation pressures. See pages 23 and 68.

Engine crankcase filter replaced?

Transmission oil filter element changed?

3-point hitch fittings lubricated?

Front and rear wheels tightness of nuts and bolts checked?

Sound-Gard air filters cleaned?
