100 Hourly Sprayer Maintenance
Adjust tread adjust shims
Activate tread adjust until axle tubes are fully extended
Remove cap screws (A) and coat with anti-seize compound
Install and tighten cap screws (A) to specification
Repeat tightening until all three cap screws torques are maintained
Loosen cap screws (A) 1/6 of a turn
Tighten jam nuts (B) to specification
Adjust the tread adjust sensors
Lubricate steering cylinder tie rod ends
10 Hourly Sprayer Maintenance
Wheel hardware tightened
Solution tank straps checked
Fill solution tank
Solution tank straps tightness checked
Solution tank straps tightened if loose
Center frame lubricated
Boom lift arm pivots lubricated
1 Yearly Sprayer Maintenance
Replace cab air filters
Replace air compressor air dryer cartridge
Relieve air system pressure by opening valve (A)
Remove cap screws (A), nuts, and clamps that secure alternator harness
Remove cap screws (B) and tilt air dryer and mounting bracket assembly (C) until dryer cartridge can be accessed
Using a strap wrench, turn the desiccant cartridge (A) counterclockwise, remove and discard
Remove and discard O-ring (B) from adapter plate stud
Clean top surface of adapter plate (D) and threaded stud
Apply a light coat of grease (supplied with new cartridge) to O-ring. Install O-ring on adapter plate
500 Hourly Sprayer Maintenance
Change engine oil and filter
1. Operate engine approximately 5 minutes to warm oil, then stop engine.
2. Remove engine fill cap (at dipstick) (A).
3. Put a large catch pan below engine drain valve and loosen valve handle (B) of drain valve to drain oil.
4. Using a 32 mm wrench, unscrew oil filter cover (C) and lift as shown to allow oil filter (D) to drain into crankcase.
5. Remove filter cover with oil filter attached.
6. While holding cover, strike filter against solid surface to remove. Discard used filter.
7. Remove old O-ring and replace with new O-ring provided with new filter element.
8. Press new filter into cover until it snaps into place.
250 Hourly Sprayer Maintenance
Check solution tank straps
1. Fill solution tank.
2. Check solution tank straps for tightness.
3. If loose, tighten until straps are snug and then tum nuts (A) an additional two turs.
Rotate tires
Check tread adjust shims
1. Activate tread adjust until axle tubes are fully extended. 2. Remove cap screws (A) and coat with anti-selze compound. 3. Install and tighten cap screws (A) to specification. This forces inner axle tube to opposite side of outer axle tube. 4. Repeat tightening until all three cap screws torques are maintained. 5. Loosen cap screws (A) 1/6 of a tum. 6. Tighten jam nuts (B) to specification. Adjust tread adjust sensor
1. Ensure axle shims are properly adjusted. (See Adjust Tread Adjust Shims-250 Hours in this section.)
2. Remove tread adjust sensor (A) and shims (B).
