2. Close flowmeter shut-off valve (A).

3. Unscrew flowmeter insert (A) and remove.

4. Clean insert with John Deere Brake and Parts Cleaner (Part No. TY26101) by spraying cleaner through internal rotor and bearing area.

5. Install insert in flowmeter.

6. Open flowmeter shut off valve (A)

Clean radiator, air conditioning cradiator;ondenser/hydraulic oil cooler/fuel cooler

Machine parked on flat level surface

Hub rotated until casting is oriented as shown

Drain plug (A) removed and hub oil drained

Amount of GL5 85W-140 filled in hub

Hub filled until fill level (D) is reached

Adjust engine valve clearance (2000 Hourly Maintenance)

Replace engine crankshaft dampers (4500 Hourly / 5 Yearly Maintenance)

2. Check solution tank straps for tightness.

3. If loose, tighten until straps are snug and then turn nuts (A) an additional two turns.

Lubricate boom lift arm pivots;

Replace hydrostatic and hydraulic filters

1. Remove hydrostatic filter canisters (A) and filter elements.

2. Remove hydraulic filter (B).

3. Lubricate new hydrostatic filter element packing and hydraulic filter packing with John Deere Torq-Gard Supreme 10W-30 or equivalent.

4. Install hydrostatic filter elements and filter canisters. After canisters contact mating surface, tighten them by rotating them another 30 degrees.

5. Install and tighten hydraulic filter.

6. Check oil level and add as required (see Check Hydrostatic And Hydraulic Oil-Daily in the Prestarting Checks section).

1. Thoroughly clean exterior of fuel filters and surrounding area.
