Battery and Terminals Cleaning
Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)
Machine parked safely?
Disconnect and remove battery.
Battery disconnected and removed?
Wash battery with solution of four tablespoons of baking soda to one gallon of water. Be careful not to get the soda solution into the cells.
Battery washed with soda solution?
Rinse the battery with plain water and dry.
Battery rinsed and dried?
Clean terminals and battery cable ends with wire brush until bright.
Air Filter Element Maintenance
Machine parked safely
Engine cooled down
Key switch and all lights are off
Hood raised
Front of air intake hose removed from radiator shroud adapter
Strap holding air cleaner base removed
Latches released and air cleaner canister cover removed
Primary element removed and discarded
Dirt cleaned out from canister
Front Axle Thrust Bolt Torque Maintenance
Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety section.)
Raise front axle off ground to take machine weight off the front axle.
Loosen jam nut (A).
Tighten bolt (B) to 32 N•m (24 lb-ft). Do not overtighten.
Tighten back the jam nut.
Lower front axle back to ground.
Sign off on the Front Axle Thrust Bolt Torque Maintenance
Radiator Hoses Check
Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)
Allow engine to cool.
Raise hood.
Check upper radiator hose (A) for damage or cracking. Replace if necessary.
Tighten hose clamps (B) as needed.
Check lower radiator hose (C) for damage or cracking. Replace if necessary.
Tighten hose clamps (D) as needed.
Lower hood.
Sign off on the radiator hoses check
Cab Rollover Protection System Installation Check
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this check
Cab protection system mounting capscrews tightened to specification
Enter the number of hours since last hardware inspection
Rubber floor mat (A) lifted to access FRONT mounting hardware
Fastener removed and insulation liner pulled away to access REAR mounting hardware (B)
Insulation liner tucked under the fender panels
Enter the torque of the mounting hardware in N•m
Sign off on the Cab Rollover Protection System Installation Check
