Coolant Quality and Level Check

Water Separator and Engine Fuel Filter Check

Tightness of Wheel Nuts(8) Check

Steer Axle Pivots and Linkages Grease

WARNING: Over adjustment of the park brake could result in the park brake not fully releasing.

Park brake disengaged (lever horizontal)?

Handle grip A turned clockwise, half a turn?

If the brake fails the test, were steps 1, 2 and 3 repeated?

Is there no more adjustment and pin B is at the end of its travel?

If there is no more adjustment and pin B is at the end of its travel get the brake checked by your JCB dealer.

Sign off on the park brake adjustment

Air Cleaner Dust Valve(4) Change

Air Cleaner Outer Element(4) Change

Air Cleaner Inner Element(4) Change

Water Separator and Engine Fuel Filter Drain

Water Separator Fuel Filter(5) Change

Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) Belt Condition Check

WARNING: Before testing the park brake make sure the area around the machine is clear of people.

Enter the machine. Fasten your seat belt (if fitted) and park the machine on a level dry surface.

Start the engine and raise the attachments to the appropriate travel position.

Push down hard on foot brake pedal.

Select forward drive. The park brake warning light must illuminate.

WARNING: If the machine starts to move during the following test, immediately apply the foot brake and reduce the engine speed.

Move the park brake lever fractionally forward until the park brake warning light is just extinguished.
