Rear capscrew, washers, and vibration mount top removed from rear leg and counterweight

Same step as above repeated for opposite rear leg

Three capscrews removed from cowl and front leg

Same step as above repeated for opposite front leg

Nut, washers, front capscrew, and vibration mount top removed from front leg and frame

Same step as above repeated for opposite front leg

Overhead guard lifted using a lifting device

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked?

Breather cap removed with a flat screwdriver?

Spring removed by hand and breather ball forced out with compressed air?

6mm thread tap installed into breather using a tap wrench and breather pulled out of housing?

New breather positioned into housing by hand?

Breather driven into housing using Breather Set Tool and a nylon faced hammer?

Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170 Nm? Truck removed from blocks?

Sign off on the transaxle breather repair

Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked

Damaged stud removed using adjustable grip pliers

Thread tap (size M14 x 1.5) run into stud hole to clean and repair any damaged threads

Threads tested with a thread plug gauge (size M14 x1.5 - 6H)

If threads are within specification, new stud installed using Stud Installation Tool

Tighten studs to 80 Nem (59 Ibf ft)

Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170Nm

Drive tire removed and lift truck frame blocked

Is fluid level with bottom of check hole?

Amount of fluid added (if necessary)

Check plug (and fill plug if removed) replaced and tightened to 22 Nem (192 Ibf in)

Drive tire reinstalled and lugs tightened to 170 Nem (125 ibf ft)

Procedure repeated for other transaxle

Safety: Ensure the truck is securely blocked and the key switch is in the OFF position before starting.

Drive tire removed and truck frame positioned correctly?

Key switch in OFF position and battery disconnected?

Wheels blocked to prevent movement?

Drip pan with at least 3.0 liter capacity placed under transaxle?

Fill plug on transaxle removed and breather inspected?

Drain plug removed and cleaned?

Transaxle drained completely and drain plug reinstalled and tightened to 22 Nm?
