Pre-maintenance Safety Precautions

Unplug the showcase before starting any cleaning or maintenance operations

Ensure the showcase is not disassembled further than illustrated in Fig. 1

Confirm no contact or wetting of the machine compartment parts

Push the test button to simulate a ground fault on the load circuit

Did the interrupter trip successfully during the test?

Ensure no further disassembly than illustrated in Fig. 1

Avoid touching or wetting machine compartment parts

Mix 0.26 gal (1 liter) of water with 0.13 fl.oz. (3.7 ml) of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution or use recommended Hoshizaki sanitizer

Disconnect the hose from the joint

Turn up the end of the joint(s)

Unplug the showcase before cleaning

Ensure the showcase is not disassembled beyond the illustrated figure

Confirm no contact or wetting of machine compartment parts

Clean the interior and food mounts daily for sanitary use

Use a soft cloth soaked in warm water to clean the exterior

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning the exterior

Use only a neutral cleaner for cleaning

Condenser Inspection and Cleaning

Check the condenser for dirt and debris

Clean the condenser using a brush or vacuum cleaner if required

Note any additional cleaning frequency required based on the showcase location

Ensure the showcase is not disassembled further than illustrated in Fig. 1

Confirm no contact or wetting of machine compartment parts

Hold the tabs located at the bottom of the louver and lift them up to release the louver from the body

Pick the frame of the air filter and pull it out toward you
