Move the Power ON/OFF (I/O) switch to the OFF (O) position

Remove all components inside of the unit

Remove the glass door(s) and side panel(s)

Carefully lay the unit on its side

Remove the 4′′ (102 mm) legs from the bottom of the unit

Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord

Wipe down all exterior and interior surfaces

Note any difficult stains and cleaning methods used

Clean hard to reach areas using a small brush and mild soap

Clean the interior of the unit thoroughly

Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged

Allow the unit to cool before proceeding

Unscrew the existing light bulb from the unit

Select the appropriate replacement bulb

Install the new specially-coated incandescent light bulb

Is the new bulb securely installed?

Ensure food product is wrapped, boxed, or on a food pan before placing on shelves.

Plug unit into a properly grounded electrical receptacle of the correct voltage, size and plug configuration.

Startup - GRCD and GRHD (Non-Humidified) Models

Move the Power I/O (on/off) switch on the base to the I (on) position.

Set the BASE HEAT CONTROL to the desired temperature setting.

Set the TOP HEAT CONTROL and the CENTER HEAT CONTROL (dual units only) to the desired temperature setting.

Is the unit turned off and unplugged?

Water Reservoir Removal and Emptying

Remove the water reservoir cover and water reservoir

Deliming Mixture Preparation and Application

Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of 75% water and 25% white vinegar
