Heated Case Start-up Check
General
Read all safety messages in the IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section before operating this equipment.
Ensure food product is wrapped, boxed, or on a food pan before placing on shelves.
Startup - All Models
Plug unit into a properly grounded electrical receptacle of the correct voltage, size and plug configuration.
Startup - GRCD and GRHD (Non-Humidified) Models
Move the Power I/O (on/off) switch on the base to the I (on) position.
Set the BASE HEAT CONTROL to the desired temperature setting.
Set the TOP HEAT CONTROL and the CENTER HEAT CONTROL (dual units only) to the desired temperature setting.
1 Daily Heated Case Cleaning
Preparation
Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord
Allow the unit to cool
Cleaning Surfaces
Wipe down all exterior and interior surfaces
Use a non-abrasive cleaner for difficult stains
Clean hard to reach areas with a small brush and mild soap
Clean the interior of the unit thoroughly
Cleaning Glass Panels

Safety Precautions
Ensure only NSF standard light bulbs are used
Verify light bulbs are specially coated to prevent injury and contamination
Preparation
Turn off the unit
Unplug the power cord
Allow the unit to cool
Bulb Replacement
Unscrew the existing light bulb
Heated Case Deposit Cleaning
Preparation
Is the unit turned off and unplugged?
Allow the unit to cool
Water Reservoir Removal and Emptying
Remove the water reservoir cover and water reservoir
Empty the water reservoir
Deliming Mixture Preparation and Application
Reinstall the water reservoir
Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of 75% water and 25% white vinegar
Heated Case Fuse Change
Preparation
Move the Power ON/OFF (I/O) switch to the OFF (O) position and unplug the power cord.
Allow the unit to cool.
Disassembly
Remove all components inside of the unit.
Remove the glass door(s) and side panel(s).
Carefully lay the unit on its side.
Remove the 4′′ (102 mm) legs from the bottom of the unit.
Remove all screws on the bottom panel of the unit and remove the bottom panel.
