Rotate the wheel by hand ten to fifteen revolutions to distribute lubricant on motor

Describe the source of moisture or dirt accumulations and actions taken to eliminate it

Describe touch-up or repainting actions taken for paint deterioration

Describe actions taken to restore machined parts to good condition if rust is found

Ensure safety measures are in place

Gather necessary tools and materials

Verify the following before lubrication

Enter the number of lubricant shots used

Enter the hand gun pressure used

Were the bearings rotated during lubrication?

Was caution employed to prevent over packing or contamination?

Record the operation time of the fan in minutes

Inspect belt alignment and tension on GB unit only

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Inspect wheel for oil and dust accumulation

Clean the wheel and housing if oil and dust accumulation is found

Check all fasteners for tightness

Describe any issues found during maintenance

Belt Inspection and Replacement

Check belts for wear and tightness

Use matched belts for multi-groove pulleys

Loosen tensioning device for belt removal

Adjust belts as per 'Pre-Starting Checks'

Check pulley setscrews and keyways

Ensure fan RPM is not readjusted

Use identical size and type pulleys for replacement
