Inspect and clean coils and base pan

Clean coils and base pan with a soft brush and compressed air or vacuum

Use a pressure washer carefully to avoid bending the aluminum fin pack

Cover all electrical components to protect them from water or spray

Allow the unit to dry thoroughly

Inspect all gasket material for deterioration

Replace deteriorated gasket material if necessary

Measure resistance of electrical components
