Check the tube holders on either side every day

If contaminated, the tube holders must be cleaned

Warning: Contaminations support incorrect positioning of the tubes. This may result in reduced dock quality and/or to repeated improper docks.

The sealing electrodes must be checked every day. If contaminated, the electrodes must be cleaned, because contaminations may adversely affect the sealing process.

To facilitate cleaning of the sealing electrodes, simultaneously press the Start and Stop keys. The tube clamps move to the 'cleaning position'. Press the Start key again to open and close the electrodes.

Use a cotton applicator dampened with disinfectant (Freka®-NOL) for cleaning. Dry the electrodes after having cleaned them.

For cleaning and disinfecting the surfaces, turn off the device and disconnect it from power supply.

When cleaning the CompoDock, ensure that fluid is prevented from entering inside.

Prevent spraying inside the device or onto its surfaces.

Clean the surfaces of the device with a moist cloth and a neutral cleaning agent.

If fluid (blood, blood components or cleaning agent) has entered into the device, turn off the device and notify the service technician.

Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
