Pump Cleaning
CAUTION: Some fluids react with water; use compatible flushing fluid.
Turn off the pump
Completely close the suction and discharge valves
Connect flushing fluid supply to flush inlet valve
Connect flushing fluid drain to flush drain valve
Open flushing inlet and outlet valves
Flush system until the pump is clean
Check for any leaks after flushing
Dispose of used flushing fluid properly
Pump Disassembling
Safety Precautions
Ensure all safety gear is worn (protective clothing, eye protection).
Lock out the motor from the power supply.
Ensure pump is flushed and decontaminated.
Initial Setup
Stop the pump and lock out the motor starter.
Close all valves connected to the pump.
Drain and decontaminate the pump.

Drive Removal
Remove components from the drive
Be cautious of magnetic attraction when using tools
Remove the drive magnet from the motor shaft by gently prying up from the bottom of the drive
Drive Reinstallation
Follow instructions from Section I – Assembly, Pumps without Motors, Steps 4-6
Pump Reassembling
Motor Adapter and Clamp Ring Installation
Place motor adapter with large flange on the bench and align smaller flange holes horizontally.
Reinstall and lubricate o-ring in motor adapter groove if removed.
Install clamp ring ensuring no bolt holes are at 12:00 or 6:00 position.
Bolt and Washer Installation
Install flat washers, lock washers, and M8 bolts.
Tighten bolts evenly using a star pattern to 60 in-lbs (6.8 N-m).
Barrier and Impeller Installation
Install barrier into motor adapter/clamp ring assembly.
