Inspection and Corrosion Protection

Check for corrosion on components

Scrape and coat corroded parts with ZRC

Select the type of protective finish

Scrape and coat galvanized finish with ZRC

Check water quality for biological contamination

Contact a water treatment company for recommended water treatment program

Lubricate pump and pump motor according to manufacturer’s instructions

Solenoid Makeup Valve Inspection

Inspect and clean valve and strainer of debris

Inspect junction boxes for issues

Heater junction box - Check for loose wiring and moisture

Electronic Water Level Controller junction box - Check for loose wiring and moisture

Inspect and clean Sump Sweeper Piping of debris

Inspect SUN Solar Panels for damage

Clean SUN Solar Panels with hose and soft brush

Is the bleed-off valve operative?

Is the operating level in pan correct?

Adjust float valve if necessary

Check water distribution system and spray pattern

Clean and flush pan to prevent bacterial growth

Check drift eliminators and fan blades

Inspect lubrication lines to bearings

Heater and Controller Maintenance

Inspect heater controller and clean probe ends

Inspect heater elements for scale buildup
