Lower the device with no load onto the inspection support

Unscrew the vent plug on the hydraulic cylinders by 1-2 rotations

If you can find no vent plugs the cylinders have been designed and fitted to be self-venting

Actuate the hydraulic pump (raise) until the oil appears at the vent opening with no bubbles

DANGER! Hydraulic oil can cause skin rashes and other injuries to health. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Wash thoroughly after any contact. Wear protective clothing!

Protect the environment: The handling and disposal of mineral oils is governed by laws. Bring any used oil to an authorised collection point. Further information is available from the pertinent authorities. Take care not to spill any hydraulic oil. Risk of fire! Take precautions to catch any spilt oil (lay out oilproof tarpaulin, provide a drip tray).

This device has been filled with biodegradable hydraulic oil. This hydraulic oil meets the requirements of Water Hazard Class 1. The instructions above should nevertheless be heeded. It is not miscible with water! Hydraulic oil used: HEES 46 (bio-oil).

Did you wear protective clothing?

Did you take precautions to catch any spilt oil?

Did you bring any used oil to an authorised collection point?

Sign off on the hydraulic unit maintenance

DANGER! Make sure that the device is not switched on.

Clean your lifting unit regularly

Clean the stickers (picture symbols) on the device

Clean the running faces of the rollers

Sign off on the cleaning procedure

Lower the device with no load onto the inspection support.

Place an oil drip tray beneath the hydraulic cylinder.

Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the cylinder and lay them into the oil drip tray.

Operate the hydraulic pump (raise) until no more oil comes out of the hoses.

Remove the vent plug from the tank.

Please refer to the enclosed dimensions sheet for filling amounts.

Screw the vent plug back into the tank.

Warning: This check requires an expert!

Hydraulic hose lines in safe condition

Check for visible damage on the outer lining

Does the hose deform when pressurised or depressurised?

Any leaks between the hose and fittings?

Does the hose work loose from the fittings?

If any damages discovered, specify the corresponding hose(s)

Pressure hoses should be replaced as necessary, though after 6 years at the latest.
