Warning: This cleaning procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Turn off the product, wait for the LCD screen to turn off, and unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet.

Wait for one minute before continuing.

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to thoroughly remove dust and dirt from the platen. Wipe from the top to the bottom of the platen and do not touch the rollers or ink tubes.

Upload a photo of the cleaned area.

If any paper particles have accumulated in the holes, use a pointed object such as a toothpick to push the material into the holes.

Use cotton swabs to remove any paper particles or dust around the outer edges of the borderless pads.

Close the front covers, plug in the power cord, and turn the product back on.

Warning: Do not use volatile chemicals, such as alcohol or paint thinners, to clean the product.

All paper removed from the product?

Product turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet?

Dust or dirt wiped off from the exterior of the product?

Note: For stubborn dirt, dampen the cloth with water mixed with a small amount of neutral detergent. Wring it out before using it to wipe the product's surface.

Product's surface wiped with a damp cloth?

Product dried with a soft, lint-free cloth?

Sign off on the printer cleaning

Warning: This procedure requires careful handling of ink cartridges. Please follow the steps exactly as described.

Is the old ink cartridge removed without any spillage?

Upload a photo of the removed old cartridge

Is the new cartridge removed from the package?

Did you shake the new cartridge for 10 seconds?

Is the new cartridge inserted into the corresponding ink slot and pushed in firmly?

Did you repeat the above steps for any other cartridge that needs to be replaced?

Warning: Do not replace the borderless maintenance box while printing, otherwise ink may leak.

Do not touch the chip on the borderless maintenance box or you may prevent normal operation and printing.

Do not reuse a borderless maintenance box you have removed from the printer and exposed to air for a long period of time. The box will not absorb any more ink.

Check the LCD screen to determine which maintenance box needs to be replaced.

Upload a photo of the new borderless maintenance box removed from the package.

Lift up the paper support lock lever, then move the paper support down to position A (the lowest position).

Extend the paper output flap as shown.

With the paper output flap extended, lift up the paper support lock lever, then move the paper support up to position C (the highest position).

Pull out the borderless maintenance box carefully without tilting it.

Caution: Store the replacement cutter out of the reach of children. Do not remove the protective material from the new cutter until instructed to do so. Do not drop the cutter or knock it against anything or you may chip the blade.

Remove all paper from the printer.

Select Maintenance > Replace Auto cutter blade > Start.

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screw holding the cutter in place and carefully remove the cutter. Place the cutter in a plastic bag and dispose of it properly.

Warning: Keep the cutter out of the reach of children. The blade is sharp and can cause injury.

Install the new cutter in the product with the protective material still attached.

Tighten the cutter screw securely.
