Coils / Thermistors Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the screw and remove the four-way valve coil.
Remove the screw and remove the defrost solenoid valve coil.
Pull out the electronic expansion valve coil for each room.
Remove the discharge pipe thermistor.
Remove the putty, and remove each thermistor.
Release the wire harnesses.
Sign off on the Coils / Thermistors Removal
Compressor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the terminal cover
Disconnect the compressor lead wires
Remove the 2 sheets of putty
Remove the 3 nuts
Before working, make sure that the refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit. Be sure to apply nitrogen replacement when heating up the brazed part.
Disconnect the brazed part (a) at discharge side of the compressor
Disconnect the brazed part (b) at suction side of the compressor
Lift the compressor up and remove it
Distributor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Before working, make sure that the refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit.
Be sure to apply nitrogen replacement when heating up the brazed part.
Remove the putty.
Heat up and disconnect the 5 brazed parts to remove the distributor.
Note: Do not use a metal saw for cutting pipes or sawdust will enter the circuit.
When withdrawing the pipes, be careful not to pinch them firmly with pliers. The pipes may get deformed.
Provide a protective sheet or a steel plate so that the brazing flame cannot influence peripheries.
Sign off on the distributor removal
Electrical Box Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
1. Disconnect the connecting wires.
The US model has a protection plate on the right side panel.
Remove the 2 screws to remove the protection plate.
1 Remove the terminal board fixing screw.
The wires are fixed to the terminal board with screws.
2 Remove all the screws of the connecting wires and the power supply wires.
3 Remove the screw of the ground wire.
2. Disconnect the harnesses.

Check motor control voltage (pins 4 - 3)
Check rotation command voltage output (pins 4 - 2)
Check rotation pulse input (pins 4 - 1)
