Fan Motor Removal
Warning: Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Fan Motor Disassembly
Remove the 2 screws and remove the fan motor fixing plate.
Remove the nut and remove the outdoor fan.
Open the 2 hooks and release the fan motor lead wire.
Remove the 4 screws and remove the fan motor.
Reassembly Instructions
Fit the lower hooks when reassembling the fan motor fixing plate.
Align the mark of the outdoor fan with the D-cut section of the motor shaft when reassembling.
Distributor Removal
Safety Precautions
Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.
Ensure no contact with heated pipes and parts from the gas brazing machine.
Is the area ventilated in case of refrigerant gas leakage?
Ensure refrigerant gas is not discharged into the atmosphere.
Preparation
Verify that the refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit.
Apply nitrogen replacement when heating the brazed part.
Avoid using a metal saw for cutting pipes.
Electrical Box Removal
Warning: Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Disconnect the harnesses
Peel off the fixing tape.
Unfasten the hooks and remove the electrical box cover.
Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector [S70].
Release the fan motor core for the harness of [S70].
Disconnect the connectors for the electronic expansion valve coil.
Pull out the clamp.
Disconnect the connector [S40].
Coil / Thermistor Removal
Warning: Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove electronic expansion valve coils
Remove the screw and four way valve coil
Cooling only models have no four way valve coil
Open the putty and remove the liquid pipe thermistors
Pull out the gas pipe thermistors
Be careful not to lose the clip
Cut the clamp
Pull out the outdoor heat exchanger thermistor
Compressor Removal
Safety Precautions
Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.
Ensure room ventilation if refrigerant gas leaks during work.
Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire immediately if refrigerant oil catches fire.
Environmental and Safety Cautions
Do not discharge refrigerant gas into the atmosphere; collect all refrigerant gas.
Restore piping by non-oxidation brazing.
