Power Supply Waveforms Check
Check No.10: Power Supply Waveforms Check
Measure the power supply waveform between pins 1 and 3 on the terminal board
Check the waveform disturbance
Check to see if the power supply waveform is a sine wave (Fig.1)
Check to see if there is waveform disturbance near the zero cross (sections circled in Fig.2)
Upload a photo of the waveform
Sign off on the power supply waveforms check
Capacitor Voltage Check
Warning: Check the main circuit for short-circuit before proceeding
Main circuit checked for short-circuit
Warning: Be careful never to touch any live parts
Capacitor voltage reading
Sign off on the capacitor voltage check
Elecrical Box Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Disconnect the connecting wires
Fasten the wires on the terminal board with screws
Disconnect the each harnesses
Detach the fixing tape for the electrical box (cover)
Undo the 4 hooks at the mark of the drip proof cover
Lift the cover up to remove
Disconnect the connector for fan motor [S70] from the PCB
Disconnect the connectors for electronic expansion valve coil
Compressor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Warning: Since it may happen that refrigeration oil in the compressor will catch fire, prepare wet cloth so as to extinguish fire immediately.
Warning: Ventilate when refrigerant leaks during the work. (If refrigerant contacts fire, it will cause to arise toxic gas.)
Caution: Be careful not to get yourself burnt with the pipes and other parts that are heated by the gas welding rod.
Remove the terminal cover.
Disconnect the flagshaped terminals.
Detach the compressor lead wire.
Detach the overload protector.
Remove the 2 sheets of putty.
Propeller Fan / Fan Motor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the fan motor fixing plate.
Remove the outer panels and plates.
Remove the electrical box.
Take out the fan motor fixing plate toward yourself.
When assembling, fit the lower hooks.
Loosen the washer fitted nut to remove the propeller fan.
When assembling, align mark of the propeller fan with D-cut section of the motor shaft.
When assembling, make sure ! mark of the fan motor goes up.
