Vacuum and Charge air conditioner

Is the outdoor unit provided with flare valve fittings?

Vacuuming The Piping And The Indoor Unit

Have you removed the caps from the valve and the service port?

Is the center of the charging gauge connected to the vacuum pump?

Is the charging gauge connected to the service port of the 3-way valve?

Have you started the vacuum pump and evacuated for approximately 30 minutes?

Has the charging gauge needle moved towards - 760mmg?

Caution: If the gauge needle does not move to - 760mmg, check for gas leaks at flare type connection of the indoor and outdoor unit and repair the leak before proceeding to the next step.

Check if the unit is mounted solidly and rigid in position

Check if piping and connections are leak proof after charging

Check if proper wiring has been done

Pour some water into left side of drain pan and check if there is smooth drainage of water

Conduct a test run after water drainage test and gas leakage test

Check if the electric plug is firmly inserted into the socket

Check if there is any abnormal sound from unit

Check if condenser fan is running, with warm air blowing off the condensing unit

Check if evaporator blower is running and discharge cool air

Describe the method used to clean the air filter

Dry the filter before placing it back onto the unit

Avoid using gasoline, volatile substances or chemicals to clean the filter

Avoid using gasoline, volatile substances or chemicals to clean the indoor unit

Check Indoor Fan for any abnormal noise

CAUTION: Avoid direct contact of any coil treatment cleaners on plastic part. This may cause plastic part to deform as a result of chemical reaction
