Preparation
Toggle the on/off (I/O) power switch to the off (O) position
Unplug the treadmill from the power outlet
Wait 10 minutes before proceeding to ensure all electrical charge is dissipated
Check the running belt condition
Remove the two screws securing the right end cap using a Phillips screwdriver
Remove the two screws securing the left end cap using a Phillips screwdriver
Inspect the top surface, seam, and edges of the running belt for any rips or excessive wear
Install the screws securing the end caps removed in previous steps using a Phillips screwdriver
Running Belt Maintenance
Initial Setup
Plug the power cord into the power outlet
Turn the main power switch to the on (I) position
Tap the Quick Start icon
Press the Speed + key to bring the speed up to 5 mph (8 kph) and allow the treadmill to run for a minute
Centering the Running Belt
Observe the Cybex logo position relative to the belt tracking slots with the treadmill running at 5 mph (8 kph)
Adjust the rear roller bolt on the side of the treadmill toward which the running belt is moving using a 3/4" socket wrench

Safety Precautions
Unplug unit and let sit for 10 minutes before cleaning or performing maintenance.
Ensure no water or liquids are near electrical parts.
Engage Service Wheel
Unplug power cord from power outlet.
Grasp the service wheel lever and slide to the right and down to lock in place.
Move treadmill as needed.
Disengage Service Wheel
Grasp the service wheel lever and slide to the right, lift up, and slide to the left.

Motor Cover Removal
Loosen the two front cover screws using a Phillips screwdriver
Remove motor cover by lifting vertically
Shield Removal
Loosen the seven screws securing the shield to the base using a Phillips screwdriver
Remove shield by sliding sideways and then vertically off of base
Cleaning
Use a vacuum attachment or hand vacuum to clean the exposed elevation assembly, drive motor, lower electronics and surrounding areas
Vacuum the fan and heat sink area of the motor controller
