Check truck for obvious damage and leaks

Check fuel system for leaks, etc

Check capacity, warning plates and decals

Check condition of tires and wheels. Remove embedded objects. Check air pressure

Check for missing or loose wheel lugs nuts

Check engine coolant level (radiator and recovery tank)

Clean and replace LPG engine air filter

Check / lubricate steer axle wheel bearings

Change / replace hydraulic sump fluid and oil filter

Sign off on the forklift maintenance

Check truck visually and inspect components

Test drive truck/check functional performance

Check torque on critical fasteners

Replace LPG engine oil and filter

Replace Diesel engine oil and filter

Warning: Do not attempt to repair a worn chain. Replace worn or damaged chains. Do not piece chains together.

Inspect and lubricate the lift chains every PM (50-250 hours)

Check for rust and corrosion, cracked plates, raised or turned pins, tight joints, wear, and worn pins or holes.

Check if a section of chain is 3% longer than a section of new chain

Check if chain wear can be measured by using a chain scale or a steel tape measure.

Check if lift chain lubrication is an important part of your maintenance program.

Check if CLARK chain lubricant is used; it is easily sprayed on and provides superior lubrication.

Check if heavy motor oil is used as a lubricant and corrosion inhibitor.

Check if all chains are replaced if any link has wear of 3% or more, or if any of the damaged conditions noted above are found during inspection.

Clean and replace Diesel engine air filter

Change Diesel fuel filter (DEUTZ)

Check drive axle mounting and fasteners

Change / replace hydraulic sump oil filter and breather

Sign off on the forklift maintenance
