Warning: Always unplug the equipment before cleaning

Cleaned all surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in mild, nonabrasive, liquid detergent

Checked and cleaned the sprayhead

Ensured the sprayhead holes are open

Sign off on the brewer cleaning

Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

If the control board fails the test, proceed to replace the Brewer Control Board

Disconnect the black wire and blue wire from the relay on the control board

Disconnect the 10-pin connector and the 4-pin connector from the main wiring harness

Disconnect the 11-pin connector from the control panel

Remove the four #6 screws and four nylon washers and the two #4-40 screws securing the control board to the end cap assembly

Install a new control board and secure with the four #6 screws and nylon washers and the two #4- 40 screws to the end cap assembly

NOTE: The four nylon washers must be installed under the heads of the four #6 screws to prevent a possible shorting of the control board circuits

Disconnect wires from the dispense valve

Drain enough water from the tank so the dispense valve is above the water level

Remove water lines from the dispense valve

Remove the two #8-32 nuts securing the dispense valve to the sprayhead panel

Install a new dispense valve using the two #8-32 nuts

Reconnect water lines to the dispense valve and secure in place with clamps

Sign off on the valve replacement

Warning: Disconnect the brewer from the power source before starting the test

Water level in the tank is within 1/2 inch from the top of the tank

Connect the brewer to the power source. Disable the brewer temperature lock-out if set

Dispense valve coil action is working. Listen for a 'clicking' sound when the BREW switch is pressed and released

Disconnect the brewer from the power source

Sound is heard as described, indicating possible blockage in the dispense valve or water line to the sprayhead

If sound is not heard as described, proceed to next step

Connect voltmeter lead ends to the dispense valve coil terminals. The indication must be 120 volts ac

Disconnect the brewer from the power source

Remove the black and blue wires from limit thermostat terminals

Carefully slide the limit thermostat out from under the retaining clip and remove limit thermostat

Carefully slide the new limit thermostat into the retaining clip

Sign off on the Brewer Limit Thermostat Replacement
