The tool may be cleaned most effectively with compressed dry air. Always wear safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.

Ventilation openings and switch levers are clean and free of foreign matter

Do not attempt to clean by inserting pointed objects through opening.

Caution: Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents that contain ammonia.

Sign off on the cleaning procedure

Warning: Use only carbon brushes supplied by Bosch and intended specifically for your product.

Check the length of the carbon brushes

If replacement is not required, stop the procedure

If replacement is required, continue with the following steps

Unscrew the caps using a suitable screwdriver

Replace the spring-loaded carbon brushes

Sign off on the carbon brushes replacement
