Warning: Stop engine and allow the muffler to cool before cleaning the spark chamber. Wear safety goggles. Failure to obey can cause serious injury.

AVOID INJURY OR DEATH: When an engine is running in an enclosed area, fresh air must be added to avoid concentration of exhaust fumes. If the engine is stationary, vent the exhaust outside. Exhaust fumes contain odorless, invisible gases which can kill without warning.

Engine stopped and muffler cooled?

Plug removed from the cleanout hole in the muffler?

Second person standing to the side of the machine?

Block of wood held over the outlet of the muffler for about 10 seconds?

Contaminants forced out through the cleanout hole?

Battery terminals and cable ends cleaned

Electrolyte level in the battery checked

Added distilled water to the battery?

Grease applied on the battery terminals and cable ends

Sign off on the 100 Hourly Maintenance

Stop the machine on a level surface and stop the engine.

Remove the check plug from the front or rear housing.

Can lubricant be reached with the tip of your finger through the hole?

If the level is low, add lubricant through the check plug hole until lubricant flows from the hole.

NOTE: When adding axle housing lubricant (See Drive System on Page SPEC-6) for correct fluid type.

Sign off on the 100 Hourly Maintenance

Heater / Air Conditioning filter maintenance

Heater / Air Conditioning filter clean or replaced

Fresh Air Filter cleaned or replaced

Fresh Air Filter and housing reinstalled

Recirculating Air Filter maintenance

Recirculating Air Filter removed

Recirculating Air Filter cleaned or replaced

Check condition indicator or display of Engine Air Filter and Air System. Service only when required. Check for leaks and damaged components. Do not use compressed air to clean elements.

Clean debris from oil cooler and radiator. Check coolant level cold, add premixed coolant as needed.

Check the condition of seat belts.

Check for damaged tires and correct air pressure. Inflate tires to MAXIMUM pressure shown on the sidewall.

Check for damaged signs (decals) and safety treads. Replace any signs or safety treads that are damaged or worn.

Check the condition of the cab.

Check for correct operation of all indicators and lights.

Sign off on the daily/8-10 hourly maintenance
