Demount the safety kit with hose burst protection and check the valve by hand for function, calcification, or blockage.

Is there any calcification present on the valve?

Remove calcifications using citric acid or acetic acid solutions.

Test the function and tightness of the mounted chamber.

Quickly open the water tap while there is no chamber connected to ensure the valve cuts off the water flux without any delay.

Ensure the chamber is powered off

Verify that all safety equipment is available and in good condition

Conduct visual inspection of electrical components for damage or wear

Are all measurements within acceptable limits as per EN 50678/VDE 0701 and EN 50699/VDE 0702?

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during operation or maintenance.

Do not remove the rear panel of the chamber.

Disconnect the chamber before conducting maintenance work by turning off the On/Off switch (H) and pulling the power plug.

Ensure maintenance work is conducted by licensed electricians or experts authorized by BINDER.

Ensure maintenance work on the refrigeration system is conducted by qualified personnel trained according to EN 13313:2010.

Documentation and Legal Compliance

Ensure regular maintenance work is performed at least once a year.

Turn off the chamber at the On/Off switch (H) and disconnect the power plug.

Let the chamber cool down to ambient temperature.

Ensure the chamber is disconnected from the power supply.

Wear protective gloves and goggles.

Avoid skin contact with the neutral cleaning agent.

Do not ingest the neutral cleaning agent and keep it away from food and beverages.

Verify the chamber's calibration certificate is up to date

Is the test equipment calibrated to DKD-Standard?

Perform chamber calibration using standardized test instructions

Ensure the following components are adjusted

Was the chamber successfully adjusted to meet QM DIN EN ISO 9001 standards?

Record any deviations or issues encountered during adjustment
