Quidel Cardiovascular Analyzer Triage Meter Pro

Remove the battery cover from the bottom of the meter by sliding the cover in the direction of the arrow

Dispose of the batteries in compliance with local regulations

Insert four size AA 1.5-volt batteries into the battery compartment

Replace the cover to the battery compartment

Apply mild soap and water solution with a damp sponge or cloth to the exterior of the meter

Wipe the meter dry using a soft cloth or absorbent tissue

Ensure no water seeps into the printer

Confirm the meter is not immersed in water or other liquids

Use a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clean the device track door

Lift the door carefully with tweezers and clean both front and back of the door

Ensure no tools, swabs, or cleaning materials are inserted into the device track

Changing Paper Between Functions

Tear off any excess paper sticking out of the Quidel Triage MeterPro.

Remove the paper compartment cover by pulling up on the cover as indicated by the arrow on the back of the cover.

Remove unused paper or the empty paper spindle from paper compartment.

Tear or cut a clean, straight edge to feed into the printer. Do not cut paper at an angle.

Insert the new roll of paper into the paper compartment.

Position the paper such that the paper will feed from under the roll.

Insert the paper edge under the paper roller (platen) until it firmly seats or resistance is felt.

Press the key to feed the paper.

Press the key to attempt device ejection

Is the Low Power Indicator flashing on the Main Menu?

Replace the batteries if the Low Power Indicator is flashing
