Place a block of wood or another object under the axle to support and steady the unit

Chain Guard and Bearing Removal

Remove the two screws holding the chain guard and then remove the chain guard

Loosen the two nuts holding the bearing

Wheel and Chain Replacement

Remove the retaining ring holding the wheel on and slide the wheel off

Replace the chain by removing the old chain from the sprockets

Loosen the two nuts on the end of the clutch cable (item 111) going into the transmission

Adjust the position of the clutch cable on the threads to change tension on the clutch lever (item 113)

Note any adjustments made to the clutch cable position

Tighten the nuts securely once the desired position is achieved
