Ensure safety precautions are followed

Remove the flush line from the seal cap

Put seal clips in the seal and loosen the set screws

Observe the pump for vibration levels, bearing temperature, and excessive noise

If normal levels are exceeded, shut down the pump and resolve the issue

Measure vibration on the pump bracket at the base of the horizontal (H), vertical (V), and axial (A) directions

Is the vibration within the maximum expected value of 0.15 in/sec (3.8 mm/sec) RMS?

If vibration exceeds expected values, shut down the pump, diagnose and fix the problem, re-start, and re-check the vibration

Store in a covered and dry location

Ensure the unit is free from heat, dirt, and vibrations

Rotate the shaft by hand several times

Treat bearing and machined surfaces for preservation
