CAUTION! Never run the compressor without safety valves. No adjustments are allowed.

Valves tested on a separate compressed air line

Enter the pressure at which the valve opened

Did the valve open at the pressure specified in Settings of safety valves?

If the valve did not open at the specified pressure, describe the issue

Sign off on the safety valve testing

Depressurize the air system as follows

Remove any dirt form the coolers with a fibre brush in the direction of the fins

Clean the coolers with an air jet in the reverse direction to normal flow (i.e. from the outside to the inside of the compressor). Use low pressure air. If required, the pressure may be increased up to 6 bar(e) (87 psig)

Is it required to clean the coolers with a cleaning agent?

If yes, consult your Atlas Copco Customer Center and note down the advice received

Check the oil level. Refer to Before starting

Drain condensate from the air receiver, if installed

Check for leaks. Tighten leaking connections and replace damaged/leaking parts

Stop the compressor and press the emergency stop button

Switch off the voltage and follow the LOTO procedure

Take out filter housing with filter element

Replace the dirty filter element with a new one

Put the filter housing with the filter element back into place

Drain the aftercooler drain receiver

Drain the intercooler drain receiver

On Full-Feature compressors, drain the drain receivers of the internal dryer, and additional aftercooler for energy recovery units
