Is the cooling fan making increased noise?

Enter the current heatsink temperature

Is the frequency converter operated in a critical part of a process?

If the above conditions are met, proceed with fan replacement

Was the fan successfully removed from the bottom of the frame?

Only use ABB specified spare parts for replacement

Upload a photo of the replaced fan

Sign off on the fan replacement

Warning: The heatsink should be checked and cleaned annually to prevent overtemperature warnings and faults.

If cleaning is carried out in the same room where the unit is normally operated, use a soft brush.

Dust removed gently with a soft brush?

If the installation can be taken apart and the cleaning is carried out in another room (or outdoors), compressed air can be used.

Compressed air used for cleaning?

Prevent fan rotation when using compressed air for heatsink cleaning to prevent bearing wear.

Fan rotation prevented during cleaning?

Sign off on the heatsink cleaning

Enter the current hours of the capacitors

Is the ambient temperature lowered?

If capacitor failure is suspected, contact ABB immediately

Did the mains fuse fail or a Fault trip occur?

Enter the ABB specified spare part number
