Power supply wires unplugged from the control unit terminal X208:FAN2
Fan lifted up
New fan installed with arrow pointing up
Counter reset in group 5 in the primary control program
Sign off on the fan replacement
20 Yearly Safety component Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Check if the mission time of functional safety components is expired
If the mission time is expired, proceed with the following steps
Choose the type of renewal
Note: Renewal of the components in the safety function circuit is economical only with larger drives that have replaceable circuit boards and other components such as relays.
Check all the components that have been renewed
The remaining mission time of the whole circuit is determined by its oldest component.
Sign off on the safety component replacement
9 Yearly Cabinet Fan Replacement
Warning: Follow the steps in section Electrical safety precautions before you start the work.

Fan removed from the mounting plate?
New fan installed in reverse order?
Sign off on the fan replacement
Drive Module Replacement
Warning: Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur. If you are not a qualified electrical professional, do not do installation, commissioning or maintenance work.
Warning: Make sure that the cabinet is secured to the floor. If not, the cabinet can topple over when the heavy drive module is slid forward in front of the cabinet. This can cause injury or death, and damage to the equipment.

Mounting plate above the shroud removed
Warning: For drives with options +G300, +G301, +G307 and +G313: Before you remove the mounting plate, disconnect the external power sources supplying the options.
Pt100 and thermistor relay mounting plate removed (for drives with options +L505 and +L506)
Control cables disconnected from terminal block X504 and terminal block removed (for drives with additional terminal block option +L504)
Screws on the right-hand side of the swing-out frame loosened and frame opened
1 Yearly Heatsink Cleaning
WARNING! Use the required personal protective equipment. Wear protective gloves and long sleeves. Some parts have sharp edges.
WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with antistatic hose and nozzle, and wear a grounding wristband. Using a normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit boards.

Drive module removed from the cabinet
Module cooling fan(s) removed
Cleaned heatsink with dry, clean and oil-free compressed air from bottom to top and used a vacuum cleaner at the air outlet to trap the dust
Reinstalled the cooling fan
Sign off on the heatsink cleaning
