Check if the mission time of functional safety components is expired

If the mission time is expired, proceed with the following steps

Note: Renewal of the components in the safety function circuit is economical only with larger drives that have replaceable circuit boards and other components such as relays.

Check if some of the components have already been renewed earlier

If some components have been renewed earlier, their mission time is restarted. However, the remaining mission time of the whole circuit is determined by its oldest component.

Sign off on the safety component replacement

Warning: Do not remove or insert the memory unit when the control unit is powered.

Warning: Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur.

Memory unit replaced in reverse order?

Sign off on the memory unit replacement

Upload a photo of the battery ejector in the battery slot

Battery carefully pulled out of the battery holder

Upload a photo of the new CR2032 battery in the battery holder

Sign off on the battery replacement

WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with antistatic hose and nozzle, and wear a grounding wristband. Using a normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit boards.

Air inlets of the fans and air outlets of the modules (top) cleaned

Air inlet gratings (if any) on the door cleaned
