Clean the interior of the food wells with a non-abrasive cleaner and pad

Use a mild abrasive on the interior of the pans if necessary

Use a special cleaning product for hard water stains and lime scaling

Follow product instructions carefully if a sanitizer is used

Ensure no cleaners are left in a food well overnight or for an extended period

Confirm that steel wool was not used

Verify that high-pressure water wash was not used

Wear rubber gloves and eye protection (and/or face shield) when using cleaning fluids or chemicals.

Disconnect electric power at the main power disconnect for all equipment being serviced.

Ensure that the power switch and rear power cord are avoided during cleaning.

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to remove dust and dirt from the unit.

Rub with the 'grain' of the stainless steel to avoid marring the finish.

If a greasy residue persists, use a damp cloth rinsed in a mild dish soap and water solution.

Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
