Check for dust accumulation on heating elements

Inspect for overheating marks on the heater frame

Look for traces of water or rust on the control box

Clean any dust found on heating elements

Was any rust or water found on the control box?

Describe any issues found during inspection

Periodically start the heating system to prevent moisture accumulation

Check resistance to ground for each circuit before powering if the heater has been shut off for a long period

Is the resistance to ground adequate to energize the heater?

Maintain and check control components such as step controllers or SCR valves according to manufacturer instructions

Replace control components only with approved original parts

Electric Connections Inspection

Check and tighten all electric connections to contactors

Heating Elements and Ground Resistance Check

Measure the resistance between the heating elements and ground

Is the resistance within the acceptable range?
