Doors Replacement
Preparations
Remove all reservoirs from the solvent rack if the door is located directly below it.
Loosen the fastening block of the display if it is installed next to the door to be replaced.
Door Removal and Installation
Lift the solvent rack slightly on the front edge if the door is located directly below it.
Push the door upward while opening to remove it.
Open the door to align the hinges with the grooves on the door.
Tilt the door slightly to the outside and remove it.
Align the new door with the hinges on the housing without clamping tubing or capillaries.
Main Power Fuses Replacement
Preparations
Turn off the device with its main power switch and disconnect the power cord from both the power source and the device.
Ensure you have the correct fuses (3.15 AT, 250 V AC, slow-blow, 5 x 20 mm) from the Fuses Kit.
Ensure you have a slotted screwdriver (3.3 mm to 5.5 mm).
Are you aware of the electric shock risk and the need to use only specified fuses?
Fuse Replacement Steps
Locate the fuse holder next to the main power switch.
Use the screwdriver to remove the fuse holder.
Replace the two fuses with new fuses of the specified type and current rating. Always replace both fuses.
Slide-In Module Replacement
Removing the Slide-In Module
Ensure team effort for handling the device
Prepare the device for transport
Loosen the four captive screws on the front left and front right of the device
Push all tubing and capillaries into the tubing chase
Grasp the slide-in module by the leak tray or by the lamp house cover and the partition panel
Pull the module out of the enclosure by approximately 10 cm
Remove the slide-in module from the enclosure with team effort

Turn off the UV lamp
Turn off the device with its main power switch

Open the doors
Loosen the screws on the lamp house cover
Remove the lamp house cover
Flow Cell Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Wear personal protective equipment as required by the hazard
Refer to the material handling and safety data sheet provided by the vendor
Flow Cell Cleaning Procedure
Flush the flow cell with HPLC-grade water
Fill the flow cell with 0.1 M nitric acid using the optional flushing and injection kit
Flush the flow cell with HPLC-grade water until the solvent leaving the flow cell is neutral (pH 7)

Install a new flow cell if cleaning did not eliminate the problem
