Confirm that you are qualified to perform these adjustments

Adjustment of the Rating Voltage

Connect an accurate (±0.1%) external multimeter to measure the dc voltage at output terminals of the power supply.

Set the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls to minimum (fully counterclockwise).

Turn the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls to maximum (fully clockwise).

Adjust trimmer pot VR105 for a reading of rate voltsx1.05 on the multimeter.

Set the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls for a reading of rate volts on the multimeter.

Adjust trimmer pot VR301 (VR201 digital type) for a reading of rate volts on the voltmeter (Digital Panel meter, digital type) of the power supply.

Confirm you are qualified to perform this procedure

Is the power supply not operating and CV or CC indicators not lighting?

Determine and describe the cause of the blown fuse

Disconnect the power cord before replacing the fuse

Replace the fuse with the correct rating and type

Locate the fuse on the rear panel (see Fig. 4-3)

Use a soft cloth dampened in a solution of mild detergent and water

Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the instrument

Ensure no cleaner leaks into the cabinet

Avoid using the following chemicals

Do not use abrasive cleaners on any portion of the power supply

Ensure the power cord is unplugged

Record the current line voltage setting from the rear panel

Select the desired line voltage position on the AC selects switch

Install the correct fuse value as listed on the rear panel

Is the AC selects switch set to the desired line voltage?
