Equipment Cleaning
Cleaning Instructions
Use a soft cloth dampened in a solution of mild detergent and water
Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the instrument
Ensure no use of prohibited chemicals
Avoid using abrasive cleaners on any portion of the power supply
Fuse Replacement
WARNING
Ensure you are qualified to perform this procedure.
Disconnect the power cord before replacing the fuse.
Fuse Replacement Steps
Check if the CV or CC indicators are not lighting up.
Determine and describe the cause of the blown fuse.
Replace the fuse with the correct rating and type
Locate the fuse on the rear panel (see Fig. 4-3).

Adjustment of the Rating Voltage
Connect an accurate (±0.1%) external multimeter to measure the dc voltage at output terminals of the power supply
Set the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls to minimum (fully counterclockwise)
Turn the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls to maximum (fully clockwise)
Adjust trimmer pot VR105 for a reading of rate volts x 1.05 on the multimeter
Set the COARSE and FINE VOLTAGE controls for a reading of rate volts on the multimeter
Adjust trimmer pot VR301 (VR201 digital type) for a reading of rate volts on the voltmeter (Digital Panel meter, digital type) of the power supply
Equipment Line Voltage Conversion

Line Voltage Conversion
Ensure the power cord is unplugged.
Select the desired line voltage position on the AC selects switch.
Install the correct fuse value as listed on the rear panel if a change in line voltage requires it.
