Wipe the outside perimeter of the door glass where the seal contacts the glass

Clean the front surface of the door seal lip with a mild soap solution

Is the glass perimeter free of debris?

Is the door seal lip clean and free of soap residue?

Dispose of cleaning materials properly

Use a damp or sudsy cloth for cleaning the control panel

Avoid using spray pretreat products on the control panel

Wipe the washer cabinet as needed

Immediately wipe any spilled detergent, bleach, or washing products from the cabinet

Avoid using scouring pads or abrasive cleansers

Check all hoses and the drain for leaks

Check the door lock for proper operation

Call for service if water is observed on the floor

Disconnect washer from electrical supply

Prepare a rag or container to catch water
