Filter Inspection and Replacement

Inspect filter for any damage or clogging

Is filter replacement necessary?

Function test on the freeze alarm

Function test on rotation guard alarm

Check and adjust sensor clearance for rotation guard alarm

Function test on damper, actuator, and valves

Have all other possible defects been alleviated?

Contact a DST representative before washing the rotor

Ensure the rotor is a D-MAX type

Wash the rotor to remove dust and grease

Inspect filter for dirt or damage

Inspect features and functionality of the dehumidifier

Inspect duct and duct connections for leaks or damage

Inspect rotor for contamination or damage

Inspect cooling system for proper operation

Function test on the freeze alarm

Inspect and replace components if necessary

Inspect features and functionality

Inspect and replace sensors and motors if necessary

Inspect and replace seals if worn or damaged

Inspect and adjust mechanical components

Check geared drive motor, pulley, belt/chain, rotor - adjust as necessary

Inspect rotor for contamination or damage

Inspect filter - replace if necessary

Inspect fan - replace if necessary

Inspect features and functionality

Electrical Components Inspection

Inspect electric, cables and components - replace if worn or damaged
