Press the key on any UPS for more than 3 seconds to shutdown all inverters.

Put all equipments on manual bypass by turning switches to 'BYPASS' position.

Note the day chosen for replacement to minimize risk of voltage fluctuations.

Turn off input and bypass circuit breaker protections of the faulty equipment.

Disconnect communication bus and all power connections from the faulty equipment.

Ensure all battery replacement is done by qualified personnel

Verify that all batteries are replaced at the same time with the same quantity and type

Confirm no voltage is present before touching the batteries

Ensure internal battery fuses are removed and interlink connections are disconnected

Replace all batteries following manufacturer instructions

Verify that no short circuit occurs between the + and - poles of the batteries
