Connecting Vent Cap To Double-Wall (Type B) Vent Terminal Pipe

Position vent cap at exhaust end of double wall pipe—refer to flow arrow on vent pipe.

Drill hole—slightly smaller than screw being used—through overlap of vent cap and pipe.

Secure vent cap to pipe using 3/4-inch-long sheet metal screw.

Drill two more holes evenly spaced (120-degrees apart) and install two additional screws.

Connecting Single-Wall Vent Run to Double-Wall (Type B) Vent Terminal Pipe

Slide single-wall pipe inside inner wall of double-wall terminal pipe.

Drill hole—slightly smaller than screw being used—through both walls of double- and single-wall pipe.

DANGER: Qualified Installation Required

Verify model, unit size, and voltage against Table 1, Table 2, or Table 3

Turn OFF gas and electric if furnace is installed

Position adapter with smaller round collar B

Fit larger collar A over flue collar on furnace

Drill first hole through connecting overlap
