DANGER: Qualified Installation Required

Ensure installation by a qualified agency in compliance with all codes and requirements.

Turn OFF gas and electric if furnace is installed.

Fit larger collar A over flue collar on furnace.

Connecting Vent Cap To Double-Wall (Type B) Vent Terminal Pipe

Position vent cap at exhaust end of double wall pipe—refer to flow arrow on vent pipe.

Drill hole—slightly smaller than screw being used—through overlap of vent cap and pipe.

Secure vent cap to pipe using 3/4-inch-long sheet metal screw.

Drill two more holes evenly spaced (120-degrees apart) and install two additional screws.

Connecting Single-Wall Vent Run to Double-Wall (Type B) Vent Terminal Pipe

Slide single-wall pipe inside inner wall of double-wall terminal pipe.

Drill hole—slightly smaller than screw being used—through both walls of double- and single-wall pipe.
