Clutch Adjustment
Hook a load of 1.25 times the nominal load into the hoist
Try to lift the load with slow and fast speed. If the hoist cannot lift the load with fast speed, proceed to the next step. Before proceeding, make sure to bring the load to floor so that the chain is tensionless (slack). Also turn off the power from the hoist
Remove the cover
Loosen the nut to adjust the setting with the screw. Use a key to turn the adjusting screw in the required direction
Turn the screw clockwise to increase the torque, counterclockwise to decrease the torque. Hold the screw position with the key. Unscrew the nut to adjust the setting with the screw and tighten the nut to lock the setting when it’s correct
Turn on the power to the hoist. Try to lift the load with slow and fast speed. If the load can be lifted, proceed to the next step. If the load cannot be lifted, turn off the power and repeat the previous step
When the clutch has been adjusted, turn off the power from the hoist and attach the cover
