Disconnect the power supply to the unit

Ensure no inhalation or consumption of medication or aerosols around the unit

Use a dry cloth to wipe off small amounts of dirt on the outside and inside of the unit and all accessories

Wipe away the cleaner completely with a cloth washed in clean water

Ensure no water is splashed directly onto the unit

Put all removed shelves back to the original position

Ensure the filter is located in the left back of the front panel

Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner

Replace the filter to its original position

Ensure the filter is fully seated

Is the filter properly cleaned and seated?

Removal of Blown Lamp or Glow Starter

Take off blown lamp or glow starter

Ensure not to injure fingers as the lamp can be hot

Ensure not to break the fluorescent lamp during detachment

Dispose of the fluorescent lamp and glow starter according to facility or regional regulations
