Post Calibration Actions
Was there a calibration failure?
Confirm use of uncalibrated leak detector for test cycle
Check if 'AL' is displayed permanently
Verify if bargraph is available for leak value reading
Leak Detector Advanced Internal Calibration
Initial Setup
Is the internal calibration function activated?
Is the checking function activated?
Internal Calibration Check
Ensure the leak detector is in Stand-by mode.
Enter the signal value delivered by the internal calibrated leak.
Enter the internal calibrated leak parameters set value.
Is the difference between the signal and parameters set value lower than 15%?
If the difference is higher than 15%, perform a complete calibration of the leak detector.
Sniffer Probe Filter Exchange
Filter Removal and Replacement
Remove the screw at the end of the sniffer probe using a 2.5 hexagonal key
Take out the old filter
Insert the new filter into the port
Hold the assembly straight up and screw on the nipple of the sniffer probe, ensuring torque is less than 1 N.m
Install the screw so that it is totally inside the nipple, ensuring a few threads are visible
Needle and Nipple Cleaning (For sniffer probe with rigid nipple only)
Remove the needle using needlenose pliers
Clean the needle delicately with alcohol and a lint-free cloth
Leak Detector External Calibration
Pre-Calibration Check
Is the leak detector internally calibrated?
Ensure the following are connected properly
Test Mode Selection
Select the test mode
Is the selected test mode the one used by the operator?
Target Value Adjustment
Select method to set target value
Enter the target value (if applicable)
Leak Detector Internal Calibration
Initial Setup
Ensure the autocal is ON
Connect a calibrated leak to the inlet port of the detector
Gas Selection
Select the gas to be used for calibration
