Belt Replacement
ATTENTION: to perform this maintenance two persons are necessary.
Power supply to the machine turned off
Gun supporting-arm removed
Rear door removed
Main panel removed by unscrewing the screws that fix it to the main structure
Gun supporting-arm positioned and blocked so as the counterweight is in line with the opening
Two+two nuts A of the rod and the two upper screws B unscrewed to slacken the belt and remove it from the pulley
All the counterweight plates removed as per Chapter 12.8
Belt marked (up and down) to locate the assembly position
Belt Tension Adjustment
Warning: Ensure the power supply to the machine is turned off before starting the procedure.
Power supply to the machine turned off
Rear door removed and trolley moved so that the counterweight slides up/down to reach the opening
Two+two nuts A of the rod and the two upper screws B unscrewed to tension or slacken the belt
Refer to the table for correct belt tension values
Parallelism between the upper and the lower counterweight plates checked
Rear door assembled
Sign off on the belt tension adjustment
Counterweight Adjustment
Power supply to the machine turned off
Rear door removed
Trolley moved so that the counterweight slides up/down up to reach the opening
ATTENTION: to make the work easier and for safety reasons, it is better that the following operations are carried out by two operators.
Plates of the counterweight added or removed to balance the machine
Rear door assembled
Sign off on the counterweight adjustment
Counterweight Sliding Guides Replacement
Turn off the power supply to the machine
Remove the rear door
Position and block the gun supporting-arm so as the counterweight is in line with the opening
Refer to Chapter 12.8 to remove all the counterweight plates
Unscrew the two+two nuts A of the rod and the two upper screws B, with a suitable wrench, so as to slacken the belt and remove it from the pulley
ATTENTION: do not remove the screws completely so as to avoid that the counterweight and the trolley fall
Tilt sideways the counterweight plate, so as to remove the sliding guides from its seats with a suitable wrench
ATTENTION: it is necessary to hold the counterweight structure so as to avoid that it falls down. Hence a second operator is required for safety reason
Replace them with new counterweight guides
Encoder Replacement
Power supply to the machine turned off
Upload a photo of the removed front safety guard
Junction box opened and encoder disconnected
Joint clamp near the encoder loosened and screws unscrewed
New encoder assembled on the support, shaft inserted into the hose of the joint and blocked with the relative clamp
Encoder connected to the junction box
Junction box and the front safety guard of the machine closed
Sign off on the encoder replacement
